Would someone please have a look at

http://user.pa.net/~tao/untitled.png

and give me some better ideas of what font this is, than the
identification sites have managed? Identifont.com says it's "Neue
Sans", which is the best guess I've found, but the "2", the "R" and
the "y" aren't quite right.

Many thanks,

Todd

Todd,

On a hunch (based on the slab uppercase I), I opened up a blank Word
document (quicker than waiting for InDesign to launch) and typed the
copy in Verdana and Verdana Bold. I set the width to 80%, and it's a
pretty damn good match. The bottom line ("Limited time only.") appears
to be another font--probably an afterthought added in Arial, although at
the resolution of the image and the early-morning resolution of my old
eyes I'm not sure about that.

Try it yourself, and I think you'll see I'm right.

Hehe, I was afraid it could be something simple...it's so close to
Arial anyway. Verdana is pretty close, but is missing the serif at
the top of lowercase i's.

I needed to make a quick change to a web site that landed my way, and
so winged it with plain old Arial and Gimp. But if anyone else has
ideas, I'm listening.

Thanks,

Todd
