Hi there,

I'm looking for the name of the font of which an image sample can be found
at http://www.geocities.com/svd_svd2000/mrc_font.htm
Does anyone know where I can find this font?
PS: The name and/or coordinates of a similar font is also fine.

Thanks in advance,

Steven.

The font is the German industrial standard typeface "DIN". Adobe, Berthold
and FontFont all produce versions of it. There is an Alternate version in
which the 6 and 9 have more oblong shapes. In the FF Alternate, the numerals
are not lining, although their shapes are unchanged.

You can compare it with other similar typefaces in the Sans Serif Font ID
Aid/Guide at http://bowfinprintworks.com/SansIDPage03.html The Style Codes
for the table are 8-47, to help you locate the sample. Since it is the only
one with that code, the identification is easy. (It's great that you gave a
full type sample!)

It is indeed quite similar, but the sample shows FontFont's modified
version of this font.

FontFont's versions don't correspond to the original DIN typeface. Their
shapes are slightly less geometric. The font in the sample is FF DIN
Bold (which is also slightly bolder than DIN Fette Mittelschrift).
