Hello folks... I have a mystery font I'm trying to identify. Does
anyone know what the script font used in this image is? This is what
passes for a logo for these people, so I need to match it perfectly.

Thanks for your help!

I was going to send you to Mike Yanega's site, www.bowfinprintworks.com,
where he's got a script identification guide; but the site is down at
the moment. Anyone know what's up with that? Just a transient thing, or
has it been down for a while?

Fairly common -

Known by a number of different names, all readily available

Amazone (Bitstream)

Amaze (Bay Animation)
Amapola (Dan Solo)
Amazonia (Graphx Edge, Benjamin Graphics)
And probably a lot more.

I was just wondering about that myself. Google's cache is from July
10, so it hasn't been down very long.

Just tried again and it's back up. Must have been a momentary
something - probably NOT related to the weather, because in Auburn, WA
today it's 75° and beautiful :)

Here's the page with Amazone:

You scared me!! That's not nice for you to do to an old man like me.
Fortunately, I checked the Bowfin Printworks Web site before taking all
those pills. Whew! The site is still up and running.

Also see Amazone at <http://bowfinprintworks.com/Script01Pg1.html>.
It's on the left about 3/4 of the way down the page. Yanega lists
Amapola and Amaze as aliases.

Thanks for the help everyone, that looks dead on. By the way, have you
guys seen whatthefont.com? It's a free service that tries to
automatically ID a font based on your uploaded image. I've had some
success with it in the past, but my image this time was not good
enough for it to work with.

It doesn't work well for scripts at all, and never with any letters
that touch.
