I want to reproduce the HAMMOND logo that sticks at the front rail
of my Hammond organ. It is made as a water decal and the edges may be a bit
unsharp or blurred.

Discussions in a Hammond organ related mailing list have lead to the
conclusion that fonts like

Zapf Optima 601 demi, Segue and Ace come very close.

I have not yet found the Ace font and someone was mentioning this
as the font that comes closest.

The logo was invented in the years around 1934 when Laurens Hammond
invented his famous organ.

Hermann Zapf created Optima in the 50ies.

I would be very grateful and happy if someone who is a font expert in this
newsgroup or otherwise has the capability and facilities and possibly access to
an Ace font make me such a logo either as jpg, gif or even better as
postscript file.

I have put up some fotos of the logo under:

Many thanks for your attention.
