Subject: Go(lang) mode for XEmacs?
Recently I started to learn the programming language Go; highly
recommended, by the way -- for anyone who hasn't tried it yet, longs
for a better C, and has been disappointed by C++ and Java, this one
may be it. But I digress.

There is a Go mode for GNU Emacs, but it doesn't work well with
XEmacs. For instance, it already throws an error with M-; , so it is
not really usable with XEmacs. Before I put much work into it
myself, I'd like to know:

Is there already a Go mode for XEmacs, or is anyone working on it?

If there is, I'd love to help; I am an XEmacs user since Lucid 19.4
and I have some Emacs Lisp experience. My experience with
implementing language modes is next to nil, though.

In my experience programmers deploying code are famous for not
understanding the differences between the development, test and live
environments and overestimating the telepathic ability of sysadmins.
