I am en xemacs user, and having to code in C/C++, I was trying
to use CEDET. But I can not make it works whith xemacs 21.4
(but it does with emacs 22.2).
My first question is: is compatibility xemacs/CEDET
a goal for either the CEDET or xemacs team ?
In the "INSTALL" file of CEDET, it is written
CEDET works well with either Emacs 21.3 or XEmacs 21.3.
but I can not guess if is a a goal or some strange hazard.
Moreover, I can not find any "XEmacs 21.3" version...

CEDET is an XEmacs package: Is that what you tried to use?

Yes it is.
I am using the one packaged with my Ubuntu (Ubunutu 9.10,
Xemacs 21.4 and cedet-common 1.01), and I am not able to make
it works. Before any further investigation, I was wondering
if it is supposed to work.

Yes. So it would help greatly if you were more specific as to what
didn't work.
