Following the success of the first workshop IWHGA2009 in April 2009,
we are encouraged
to continue the efforts to provide an international forum for
researchers and practioners from both fields of application and
computer
science to share and exchange their experiences, discuss challenges,
present original ideas, and report state-of-the-art and in-progress
research results on HPC and Grid Applications, IWHGA2010 is going to
be
held in Huangshan, one of the World Cultural and Natural Heritages in
China.

The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

# HPC- ,Grid-, or Cloud-based E-science, E-engineering, E-economics,
E-Finance etc.;
# Parallelization ,Grid-, or Cloud-enablement for an existing
application;
# Development of a new HPC, Grid, or Cloud application;
# Libraries, middleware, and tools for parallel, Grid, or Cloud
applications;
# PSE or Workflow application for complex HPC, Grid, or Cloud
applications;
# Data-centric HPC, Grid, or Cloud applications;
# HPC- ,Grid-, or Cloud-based visualization applications;
# Experience in using a HPC, Grid, or Cloud application;
# Fault-tolerance, low-latency, load-balancing strategies of HPC,
Grid, Cloud applications;
# Performance tuning of conventional applications;
# Performance estimation, measurement, and/or evaluation of a HPC,
Grid, or Cloud application;
# Scientific computations based on recent architectures or machines
such as Cell B./E. and GPU etc.;
# Applications of High Efficiency Computing or Green Computing;
# Applications of High Availability Computing or Pervasive Computing.
