regular/portmap translation creation failed

The FWSM/ASA family has an error code %FWSM-3-305006 which can have
several wordings[1]. I'm trying to find out the difference between
"regular translation creation failed" and "portmap translation creation
failed". It does not seem to be the difference between a local address
being translated by NAT or PAT.
