I am currently looking at adding SNMP agent functionality to some
existing telecoms mobile infrastructure software running under Linux.
This would be done by defining and implementing some enterprise-
specific MIBs, and using SNMPv3.

Dell Power Connect 6248 CPU Utilization

I found the OID for my Dell 6248 CPU utilization. (.1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2 .6132.1.1.1.1.4.4.0) The problem is that the Value is as follows
5 Sec (10.32%), 1 Min (9.56%), 5 Min (9.85%)
How do I graph this? I have setup CPU utilization for other network devices, but not like this.

MRTG use alias as file name not interface

Hi
Fairly new to MRTG and just struggling to get the syntax right to allow files to be created using the interface alias rather than the device ip_interface number.
This is on a Cisco 2950 Switch that lists an interface as:

Multiple polling to single OID

Hi all,
We are using MRTG Version : 2.14.5-2. Currently facing the peculiar
issue as below.
MRTG server is polling those OID's of target router which are not
configured in any of the CFG file in MRTG systems. There are instances
of frequent SNMP polling hits going to the target router sub
interfaces which sometimes are around 30 with in span of 5 mintus... more »

MRTG and WMI - trying to calculate my own %ProcessorTime from PerfRawData

I have a working MRTG that's getting values from %ProcessorTime in Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfOS _Processor
But the values I'm getting here are only spot measurements AFAIK, so they're not really showing the average processor usage over the last 5 minute period.
So I wanted to make an MRTG config that uses %ProcessorTime in Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_Proce ssor instead.... more »
