Differences from net-snmp

I think I'm getting confused by differences between net-snmp and mrtg. For
example, net-snmp gives me a simple 0 for UCD-SNMP-MIB::ssCpuRawInterrupt.0; whereas from debug output it looks like mrtg is getting "undef":

--snpo: SNMPGet from xxpassword@localhost -- ssCpuRawInterrupt.0,ssCpuRawInterrupt.0,sysUptime,sysName
--snpo: SNMPfound -- 'undef', 'undef', '125 days, 19:26:06', 'hostid-lnx01.pinerivercapital.local'

And then, from the graphs, it looks like undef was being interpreted
as a large integer.

Is that what's really happening? It's kind of annoying to not be
able to preview how data will be interpreted by mrtg.
