SCOPE
Modeling & Simulation represents a strategic sector to study real
problems; therefore agent paradigm and its related theory and

methodologies opened in last years new frontiers for advancing the
physical, natural, social, military, and information sciences

and engineering; the development .
Currently the developments of Intelligent Agents in cooperation with
Simulation is providing a new exciting framework for

developing new solutions able to and to face the challenges provided
by complex systems.

Topics and Area of interest include, but are not limited to:

Engineering applications: electrical engineering, communications,
irrigation systems, manufacturing systems, networks, power

grid, robotics, software, transportation/logistics;
Management/economy applications: economy, sustainability and
environment, and management;
- Social systems and human behavior applications: social systems,
psychology/human behaviour, physiology, negotiation, and

organization theory;
Environmental applications: environmental management, ecosystems, land
use
Defense & Homeland Security applications.

Final Paper Submission and Registration: June 22, 2012


PAPER SUBMISSION

Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in any of the topics
listed above.
Instructions for preparing the manuscript (in Word and Latex formats)

Papers should be submitted electronically via the web-based submission
system at: http://www.insticc.org/Primoris

PUBLICATIONS

All accepted papers (full, short and posters) will be published in a
special section of the conference proceedings book - under

an ISBN reference and on CD-ROM support - and submitted for indexation
by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index

(ISI), INSPEC, DBLP and EI (Elsevier Index).
All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the
SciTePress Digital Library

(http://www.scitepress.org/DigitalLibrary/). SciTePress is member of
CrossRef (http://www.crossref.org/).
Extended versions of accepted papers presented at the Workshop will
appear in as a Springer book chapter. A selection of high

quality papers will be proposed to be submitted as an extended version
for a special issue of an international journal to be

specified later.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in the British
Journal of Educational Technology and other selection of high

quality papers will be proposed to be submitted as an extended version
for a special issue of the international journal Journal

of Universal Computer Science J.UCS
