ASE 12.0.0.8 and Solaris 10 zfs

Hi,

we plan to migrate to new servers. We run now ASE 12.0.0.8, Solaris 10 on
flat files on a ufs device (with mirror).

The root file system is now supported on zfs, so we ask if it is possible
to use ZFS filesystem for the sybase flat file DB? Raw-devices are not so
handy, performance is not the argument.

Functionally it will work, but ZFS is not recommended for databases due to
the performance penalty you'll be paying.
