ULTIMATE PLUS, Need example of writing to a UNIX file

I would like to write a program that would read a PICK file and write its contents to UNIX. If this were UNIVERSE or UNIDATA I could use the WRITESEQ. I know that something similar can be done, I just don't recall the technique.

went back to it last week to handle bulk data
still use the line editor heavily .. nothing better for large intricate changes specific to improve systems in specific ways... more »
