Dude, the lead time is not long enough to qualify me for cheap airline
seats. Darn! I was looking forward to it too...

Rats, you used eventbrite. Did you know you could use a MultiValue
application for your sign-ups? It is still in alpha delivery, but
maybe next time--just give a holler if you are interested in being one
of our pilot sites for snupnow.com. We are planning a very long pre-
launch time, but we have had live, paid sign-ups (as well as free
ones). Our application is written in mvbasic (plus javascript, html,
css) using Cache'.

Calling all Dallas-Ft. Worth Multi-value people!!! We need more folks
to come to the TEXMUG meeting next Thursday, Sept 9th at Party Off The
Grid! This is a fantastic place and you will have the opportunity to
socialize with others within our industry. Additionally, Northgate
Reality are coming to make some presentations.

While this is the second of two visits by Northgate Reality the
following topics will be discussed at the meeting that were not
previously addressed:
Mark Pick - How can your Multivalue system work with modern
technologies Cloud Computing and Sofware As A Service (SAAS)
Mark Fuller - Relational Access to Reality Data, Transparent Access to
External Data Sources including Remote Q-Pointers, SQL-VIEW, DIR-VIEW,
CSV-VIEW, Sequential File Access, XML Parser, Web Services, RealWeb
and other technologies developed by Northgate for Reality.

More information is available on the home page of the TEXMUG website
(www.texmug.org) under the meeting details.

Everyone go register for the meeting. Only $5 for a full BBQ dinner
including Brisket, Ham and Sausage!!! Let's get a great turn out and
treat the Reality folks to a little Texas hospitality!

We have a couple scholarships available for first time TEXMUG
attenders. That could help offset your flight fare Ed. ;-)

Thanks Baker. We are in alpha delivery, with 5 pilot sites to date, so
we have not started advertising in any big way, but it sure makes
sense for me to let MV folks know we are there. I have your email
address, so I'll shoot you some info there. Thanks for considering us
for any sign-ups, whether priced or free. --dawn

Our TEXMUG meeting was sparsely attended and those who did not attend
missed a very good evening. Mark Pick and Mark Fuller did a very good
job in presenting their topics. It is always very cool to see MV play
in current technologies (see meeting description at www.texmug.org)
and play well!

Thanks Mark and Mark! I hope you enjoyed the BBQ.
