  You install them into separate oracle homes. Do the 9i first and &lt;br&gt; patch then 10g and patch is simplest. &lt;br&gt; You should double check 9i I &amp;quot;think&amp;quot; it is supported by oracle for &lt;br&gt; solaris 10. The installer might get a little weird worry about os &lt;br&gt; patches and pre-reqs not sure. The 10g install is pretty clean.

  It&#39;s always helpful if you note what version of oracle you are &lt;br&gt; running ... that way if people take the time to suggest a SQL query to &lt;br&gt; give you what you want ... it might actually work. &lt;br&gt; Certainly you can and should do it in 1 SQL statement but there are &lt;br&gt; various tricks that may not be applicable depending on version.

  I am not 100% sure of what you are looking for but many of Jonathan &lt;br&gt; Lewis&#39;s and Tom Kyte&#39;s published articles contain test cases and &lt;br&gt; example code just as their books are cramed full of code segments. &lt;br&gt; There are many other online articles, newsgroup posts, and forum &lt;br&gt; entries filled with example and suggestions on setting up tests.

  There is, actually... &lt;br&gt; You can select the Home by name, and the path will be adapted, &lt;br&gt; but only after setting the environment correctly (as you &lt;br&gt; found out)
