OS word size?
Database release and word size?
Basically, is this 11g R1 or R2 (don't know if R2 is out for MS Win
yet) and is it 32 or 64 bit for both the operating system and Oracle
database server software.

You can hack one of the config files ( some xml file I don't recall
details ) and the install will work. You have to add an entry so the
installer thinks it is ok.
I did this for the 11g client for windows 2008 server release 32 bit
( think it was that one ) to get a client on my 64 bit windows 7 pro
system. It probably will work to get a database running.
Definitely unsupported from vendor!
At some point when 11.2 is release for windows it probably will
support windows 7.
