Location: Alpharetta, GA

Contract Length: 8 Months

Interview: Phone

Pay: TBD - (Competitive)

Position Description:

This person will lead efforts to support and enhance business
processes and systems to support Supply Chain and financial business
functions. The Business. Analyst acts as a liaison between IT and the
internal business customer. They must be able to understand core
business objectives and processes and translate those needs into a
clear definition of IT requirements, culminating in successful
delivery.

The primary responsibilities include:

* Developing detailed functional design for Oracle solution
components

(MD50s) and prototypes

* Developing prototypes to validate solution design

* Work with cross-functional teams (Oracle Development and
Supply Chain business) to design and implement business
requirements

* Work with key members of various departments and other
members of

the IT team to identify and resolve application issues, system
Enhancements, and new user requirements.

* Work with the project team in resolving application issues,
designing and implementing system enhancements, and in documenting new
user requirements.

* Work with other external application teams in identifying
data requirements and interface design to meet solution objectives.

* Work with development teams to ensure solution is built as
per the design specifications

* Developing test scripts and testing new functionality/
enhancements

* Provide input for production related issues;

* Planning, design and execution of data conversion activities

Position Qualifications:

The candidate must have a minimum of 6 years experience with the one
or more following Oracle Modules:

* Oracle Inventory

* Oracle Order Management

* Oracle Receivables/iReceivables

* Oracle BOM, WIP

* Oracle Advance Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)

* BA/BS degree required.

* 6+ years as an Oracle 11i functional consultant (Order to
Cash modules). Hands-on experience in at least 4+ full life cycle
implementations in Order Management/Inventory/AR modules is required.

* Knowledge of the Vertex Tax solution (Series O) and
experience in implementing Vertex integration with Oracle
Applications is required

(Vertex application is a third party tool that Oracle integrates with

to calculate tax at various levels when a sales order is created).

Additional skills

* Strong understanding of the Oracle Supply Chain/Financials
schema

And table structures required

* Experience in interfacing with Warehouse Systems, EDI, ASCP
desirable

* Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL etc (candidates with "techno-
functional" experience will be preferred - 20-30% technical
expertise; 70-80% functional expertise)

* Strong understanding of supply chain planning fundamentals

* Written and oral communication skills

* Solving business problems with application (Oracle 11i)
functionality

* Driving small & large teams to solutions on production and
project issues, including teams of internal business customers, IT
testing & development teams

* Manage customer expectations

* Providing status reports and effectively prioritize work with
he internal customer

* A proven understanding of SDLC and Change Management
methodology

Preferred.

* Previous project management experiences a plus.

* Ability to work occasional week-ends and varied schedule
required.

7/24 on call availability for resolving high severity issues.
