The timing is extremely conspicuous. We all remember Tom Kyte's "taking
job with MS" on 4/1/2006. Does anybody know more?

On the second thought, this is definitely a joke. The website mentioned
on the blog is just a stub and from what I know of Cary Millsap, he would
have never published something like that. Admittedly, I don't know him
personally but
he's a mathematician, his book is neat, tidy and clear, all about methods
and methodology, and leaving Hotsos with a page like
http://www.method-r.com is definitely not his MO. This is sloppy, even
for a joke.

@home.com is bogus.
Flying penguins! http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/
And instead of announcing in on March 31st or April 2nd he chose to
announce it on April first? ;-)
Err, he announced it on March 31st 4:03pm according to the blog... of
course, he may have changed the date...

At least I'm not the only one to come unstuck in time. http://home.mcom.com/
Looks legit to me. Not posted on April 1st.
Cary supplies his email. If you want to know more why don't you
contact him directly?
Good luck and have fun Cary!
