Description:
Oracle/ODI Developer
Responsibilities:
Analysis, design, construction and testing of complex end user applications using Oracle 11g and Oracle Data Integrator
Participate in business requirements analysis sessions
Identify and document functional and derived requirements and map them to customer requirements
Identify and document system requirements taking into account functional requirements as well as performance, functionality, and supportability, etc.
Complete functional and technical design deliverables
Work with the Production Operations team to optimize ongoing performance
Escalate issues to development teams, other support organizations and third parties as appropriate
Oracle 10g or later SQL and/or PL/SQL experience in ETL process development with large record volumes
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development
Experience in Oracle DDL scripting
Oracle PL/SQL packages
5+ years experience creating and implementing physical databases from relational and dimensional logical data models
Expert in Oracle SQL Loader
Must be familiar with current version of Oracle 10g, Advanced SQL and PL/SQL, Application development experience in an Oracle environment, Data Modeling/Relational Database Design
Experience in planning space allocation, creating and managing table spaces, partitioning strategies.
