The company has extensive contacts within its Fortune 500 client base and is able to access a large pool of talented and responsive professionals with proven records of accomplishment in both the technical and business fields.
We are currently seeking an Oracle Tester Plan test strategy and scenarios for a large data warehouse application. Also will -
o Responsible for designing, documenting, and executing test cases (SQL queries) to generate reports and verify results against data from multiple source databases and applications.
o Write scripts to automate test cases.
o Design test metrics to control and monitor progress.
o Track defects using TRs/MRs systems.
o Follow quality procedures closely and produce quality records and documents.
Skill Sets / Qualifications
o 10+ years of solid testing experience with large scale, multiple-application solutions across different platforms.
o 5+ years of experience using Unix programming environment, must be familiar with Shell scripts.
o 2+ years of experience in using and administrating Crystal Reports.
o 2+ years of working with Oracle 10g databases, and fluent in SQLPlus.
o Some experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouse applications
o Fully understand relational database model and its application
o A 4-year degree in science, engineering, or a related field
o Well organized and detail-oriented
o Good verbal and written communication skills
