We at Nob Hill Software are working on a new query tool:

http://www.nobhillsoft.com/MarieAlix.aspx?HeardVia=ptut

You can read all about it on the above web page, but basically, its a
very ambitious project to create what we call 'the query tool to end
all query tools': everything you ever wanted, desired, dreamed about
in a query tool, and then some.

For that, we need people who will download it, use it, tell us what
they think, what's good and what's not, and what they would like to
see in the future. This program has been going on since winter 2009,
and so far we've made plenty of DB users happy - but we could always
use more feedback. No catches, no tricks, we will never ask for money
or anything - just to know what you want, so we can put it in. When
the tool is finally out on production, all those who contributed will
have it for free - for life.

If you're interested, just download and start working. Then email us
your feedback, which can be anything from a single sentence to entire
pages.

Contact us through the site if you have any questions!

Thank You
Nob Hill Software

Requirements are, according to the web site:

Software:
MDAC 2.8 (or higher)
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (or higher)
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (or higher)

Operating System:
Windows 2000.
Windows 2003.
Windows XP.
Windows Vista.
Compatible with 64 bit OS.

Why are you posting this on a MySQL site if SQL Server is required?

BTW, it's "POWERFUL" and not "POWERFULL" ... (look at the links on the
left-hand side of the web page).

Hi
I work for Nob Hill Software. Let me ansewr all that was said:

First, if you look at the product page: http://www.nobhillsoft.com/MarieAlix.aspx
it says in many places that it supports MySQL. we post here because
its a very useful tool for MySQL users. The 'requirements' page is
wrong there - thanks for letting us know. we're correcting that now.
Thank you (that counts as feedback if you want a free copy of the
product, just let us know)

Next - the typo. our bad indeed. thanks

but as for using adobe color scheme - we definitly do not steal
anybody else's color scheme. its 100% our own.

Thanks again for the feedback

And further, in our defense, This logo and color scheme is a very
popular one, not proprietary to Adobe. look at the various iPhone
apps, and how many of them have that style.

Beyond that, the issues on the web site have been corrected - thanks
again. Bottom line, its about the tool, it has a very nice GUI for
MySQL, visual query builder, drag and drop, full regular expression
support.... and many other things. and its 100% free. so if you want
- try it. if not, not :)

thanks again
