Hello everybody,
i have a gemalto smart card reader,
i need to use it to read card with msaccess.

which is the correct dll to use, or which is the to read throught vba ?

i head something about winscard.dll , but i don't know how it work .

I would suggest asking the manufacturer for the programmers
documentation, sometimes called, SDK Software Developers Kit I think,
and sample code. If they can supply you with VB6 code that will
likely work with Access.

i have searched for sdk
i found only sdk for .net

may be is a library usable for vb6 ?!?

never for vb6

I have no idea if that has VBA/VB6 sample code. But you could
certainly ask them.

You can also use C++ code as a starting point but you'd have to do a
lot of extra work to translate the sample C++ code to VBA.
