I am designing a database which is to be run on a multi-user
system with different screen resolutions. It is
specifically designed for 1024x768, which all the machines
are capable of. Is there a means of specifying at which
resolution the database should operate or coding this into
the start-up?

Many thanks for any help/advice,

Neil...

Not unless you want users to have to reboot, AFIK... Personally, I'd go
with 800x600, but that's just my opinion. I don't believe there's a
simple solution to the differing resolutions issue, but I've seen some
(complex looking to me) workarounds to it on this NG. Perhaps do a
search on Deja on Access Screen Resolutions.

I have code that will allow you to change screen resolution on the fly
without rebooting. Email me and I will send a copy to you.
