I am designing a database which is to be run on a multi-user system with different screen resolutions. It is specifically designed for 1024x768, which all the machines are capable of. Is there a means of specifying at which resolution the database should operate or coding this into the start-up?

Not unless you want users to have to reboot, AFIK... Personally, I'd go with 800x600, but that's just my opinion. I don't believe there's a simple solution to the differing resolutions issue, but I've seen some (complex looking to me) workarounds to it on this NG. Perhaps do a search on Deja on Access Screen Resolutions. HTH brett

I have code that will allow you to change screen resolution on the fly without rebooting. Email me and I will send a copy to you.
