Hello
We hit a table extensively (and with multi threaded) for a next key value to be returned and of course it is running into deadlocks, etc.
We are looking to move this to sequences - are there locks involved with sequences in a multi threading scenario?

AFAIK there should be no locking issues with sequences.
one could also look at serial(4 or 8)
