Help for replicating DB's

Hi,

I need help or guidance from the group wrt Oracle DB replication.
My client has its production running on Oracle 9.2.1.0, and he is
going to set a new test environment.
As the application is dependent on real-time transactions, thus the
client requires that the test DB should be in sync with the production
one.
It would suffice if this is done as frequently as possible.

I searched for this and found that Oracle does support this idea by
providing the concept of "MultiMasterReplication".
I would like the group to please guide me over this issue.
Provide some links, writeups or whtevr, so that i can implement this
idea.
And also tell that-will this process affect the original production
environment in any case. If yes, to what extent.What are the risk
factors.
