I haven't bought a compiler book in a few years (Cooper and Torczon,
Engineering a Compiler). I figure it's time for a new one. Does anyone
have suggestions for a recent compiler book or two that's worth reading?

Thanks.

I recently bought books an ANTLR and JavaCC. These are both better
than I expected them to be and I wish I had more time to study them :-

And the new Dragon book is out:

My only suggestion at the moment would be

Compilers: Principles, Techniques, and Tools (2nd Edition)
by Alfred V. Aho, Monica S. Lam, Ravi Sethi, Jeffrey D. Ullman
Addison Wesley; 2 edition (August 31, 2006)
Hardcover, 1000 pages
ISBN: 978-0321486813

and this is assuming you already know the Dragon Book of old.

But I would wait for a reprint. The first print of the 2nd edition has
way too many mistakes.
