Hi,

When I use ADEXL test editor to save the ADE state within this GUI and when reloaded the same,
I see that the calculator expression with measurement over corners are not saved properly.(i.e., evaltype becomes 'point' after reload )

Also the spec, weight, units are lost when I reload the ADE state in ADEXL testeditor.

Is there any way to retain all of these while still be able to save it as an ADE state.

Thanks,
yvk..

That's because that information is not stored in the ADE state. It's in
the ADE XL database instead. Concepts such as specs, weights, units,
evaltype don't exist in ADE L, so the additional information that is ADE
XL specific gets stored in ADE XL's database instead.

When you load the state, it doesn't then know about these settings.

Why are you saving and loading the state from the test editor - you
shouldn't need to do this within ADE XL?

Regards,

Andrew.

Andrew,

That is true we need not save and load state within ADEXL.

But this is how I planned to use it, create a state for normal ADE sims, and then reuse the same state for running all PVT,MC etc using ADEXL, since the underlying testbench and analysis etc are same in both cases.

Hence I ran into this issue. so it looks like there is no way to save the state in ADEXL for a specific test independently.(w/o loosing those specs etc)

Essentially I want to reuse the same state while working with both ADE and ADEXL. since ADEXL is superset with all those specs, units etc, I thought of saving it from within ADEXL and use it both places.

Thanks,
yvk
