Just wanted to mention that we started updating Collective
Optimization Database with various optimization
cases (for Intel and AMD processors at the moment) for multiple
benchmarks such as EEMBC, SPEC2006, etc
and started collecting data to compare different compilers including
GCC, LLVM, Open64,
Intel, etc. You can access it at: http://ctuning.org/cdatabase
We have also released several collaborative optimization-related
tools:
* fully redesigned and documented Interactive Compilation Interface
(ICI)
v2.0 for GCC 4.4.0 (http://ctuning.org/ici) - a high-level plugin
system to
transform production-quality compilers into research toolsets;
* Continuous Collective Compilation Framework v2.0 - a plugin-enabled
framework
to automate program and architecture optimizations and gather various
static and
dynamic optimization profile data in a Collective Optimization
Database (http://ctuning.org/ccc);
* Collective Benchmark(MiDataSets) v1.0 - a collection of open-source
programs
with multiple datasets assembled by the community to enable realistic
benchmarking
and research on program and architecture optimization (http://
ctuning.org/cbench);
It's an ongoing community project to share optimization knowledge and
automate
program and architecture optimization as well as compiler design so
you are warmly
welcome to provide feedback and join this effort!
Yours,
Grigori Fursin
