Hello,

In a multiprocessor architecture, how many processors can support
spartan 3 starter kit??
Please, if anyone knows this trick answer me!!

Well, this depends on what processors are we saying...

If we are taking about some IP Cores there are informations about how large
is design, if it is your own design it depends if it is complex desgin or
not and
what Spartan ( there are few types... )

I do not think that you can put more than two if you use MPMC memory
controller.

I use MPMC memory in my design. but, can you tell me if I can put two
cores processors on the same PLB bus or not? and if it is possible, what
is the best method to working for : using two PLB buses for each core
processor or a single PLB bus for both??

Hi,

MPMC has 8 ports and each port can be a dual-XCL (handling two XCL
interfaces) so in theory you can have 8 MicroBlaze connected to MPMC
and external memory.
But you woulnd't be able to have any other master accessing the
external memory.
