Subject: 13th international CAN Conference at Hambach Castle, Germany

On March 5 and 6, 2012 the 13th international CAN Conference (iCC) will take
place at the Hambach castle in Neustadt an der Weinstraße (Germany).
Also on March 5, 2012 the CAN in Automation (CiA) international users? and
manufacturers? group will celebrate its 20th anniversary with an evening
reception free of charge for CiA members. Non-members will need to pay for
it.
The Hambach castle is rich in history and is called the cradle of German
democracy. It was in 1832, when about twenty- to thirty-thousand people of
all ranks of society and different nations went up to the Hambach castle for
a big festival during which they claimed liberty, civil rights and national
unity in many fiery speeches. This makes the Hambach castle a perfect
location, not only for the 13th international CAN Conference, but also for
the 20th anniversary of the democratically organized CiA users? and
manufacturers? group, which supports the democratic bus system CAN.
