White model clearly evokes memories of the "Linen" Air Force 1, which
has yet to see re-release. This Nike retro styleAir Force Onehosts a
predominantly birch colored upper. Birch leather on the toe, lace
panel, and heel lay on a woven base of the same color. White is used
for the swoosh, inner liner, laces, and midsole. However, it is the
soft brown/tan colors on the upper and on the midsole that give this
retro style shoe its flavor.

Though the powder blueAir Force Onehas always been a favorite amongst
Jordan fanatics, it has remained one of the few models that the brand
has not produced a retro version of. Until this year, of course. Until
this year, of course. The retro version of this Air Jordan 9
basketball shoe, which has just released, uses University Blue as
opposed to its original dark powder blue color. Other than the slight
color change and the 23 being stitched on the back of each shoe, this
retro remains true to the original version. After releasing the stark
white Silver Anniversary edition of the Air Jordan IX (9), Jordan
Brand has shown a few more exciting models to whet the palate of its
fans. This Air Jordan 9 Retro basketball shoe has been a highly-
anticipated one as well. The North Carolina blue appears on the lining
and midsole, while the white on white upper is broken up only by the
embroidered “23? on the heel and the Jumpman on the outsole. The
tongue and laces are black to give a bit more contrast.

White tumbled leather and black suede come together on this upper, but
this mid-90s design is far from plain. College Navy accents have been
implemented along the waving side design, as well as on the eyelets
and Max Air unit. This basketball shoe was worn by soon-to-be-Hall of
famed Scottie Pippen and joins the Air Pippen 1 in Nike Basketball’s
retro catalog for this Summer. These made quite a big splash when they
were initially released and it is anticipated that their return will
have the same presence.
