ICMLA 2012: The 11th International Conference on Machine Learning and
Applications

Call for Special Session and Workshop Proposals

The Eleventh International Conference on Machine Learning and
Applications (ICMLA 2012)
will be held at Boca Raton, Florida, USA on December 12-15, 2012. The
ICMLA-2012 organizing
committee is inviting submission of proposals for special sessions and
workshops.

Special sessions and workshops can be either a half day or one day.
Each special session
or workshop should cover one particular application domain or research
topic in machine learning,
data mining, artificial intelligence, and other related areas. Special
session or workshop proposals
on interdisciplinary research, emerging machine learning directions,
and industrial and government
applications are highly encouraged.

Each special session/workshop will have at least five paper
presentations. Special session/workshop
chairs will be responsible for soliciting the papers, organizing the
reviews, and making final decisions
in consultation with the conference chairs. All special session and
workshop papers will be included in
the conference proceedings (in a second volume), which will be
included in the IEEE digital library.

Special session and workshop proposals should include the following
information:
- Name and address of the proposer(s)
- Title of the session/workshop
- A description of the session/workshop/tutorial including the scope
and aims
of the session/workshop, a short bio of the organizer(s), preliminary
committee members.


Special session/workshop proposals or Tutorial proposals can be
