IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence 2010
IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation Special Session
Call For Papers
http://www.wcci2010.org/
http://ncra.ucd.ie/grammarsinnc.html
Aim:
Grammar-based methods have been widely used to control search in
Genetic Programming and related fields; meanwhile, evolutionary
methods have become important in grammar learning, in both practical
application, and as a means to understand the processes of language
acquisition. A small number of systems combine both aspects, learning
grammars to control evolutionary search spaces. The possibilities for
cross-fertilisation are immense. The aim of this special session is to
bring people from all these areas together, in order to foster
innovative research on the interactions of grammars, evolutionary and
other natural computing systems.
Scope:
We invite contributions on all aspects of Grammars in Natural
Computing, including (but not limited to) the following areas:
Grammar-Based Evolutionary Algorithms
Other Grammar-Based Stochastic Algorithms
Grammar Learning through Natural Computing
Grammar Models of Social and Biological Interaction
Modeling Language Learning through Grammars and Evolution
Grammar Models in Natural Systems
