ideas for class presentation on AI?

Hello,

We just started AI as a course in our 5th semester in Computer Science
degree.I am due to give a talk on how AI has changed the world so i
need ideas on what to take up, in specific can anybody tell me an
interesting application of AI in real life?

I can google this but i figured here on this group i'd get a lot
better ideas and it would be easier for me to ask doubts / questions
back if i had any. thank you all.

The most common application that most people readily notice
is animation technology. Although it's doesn't have much to do
with A.I. Theory, A.I. History, or even A.I. Computer Apps,
it's what non-science, non-engineering people notice most.
