* Mission *
The AGI conference series (http://www.agi-conf.org/) is the premier international forum for cutting-edge research focusing on the original goal of the AI field — the creation of thinking machines with general intelligence at the human level and ultimately beyond. The AGI conference series is held in cooperation with AAAI, and AGI-13 will co-locate with IJCAI-13.

AGI-13 keynote speakers:
- Sam S. Adams (IBM Research)
- Thomas G. Dietterich (Oregon State University)
- Dileep George (Vicarious Systems, Inc.)
- Stuart C. Shapiro (SUNY at Buffalo).
Beside the technical sessions, AGI-13 also includes the following events:
- Special Session on Cognitive Robotics and AGI
- Special Session on AGI in Asia
- Workshop: Formalizing Mechanisms for Artificial General Intelligence and Cognition
- Workshop: Probability Theory or Not? Practical and Theoretical Concerns on Uncertainty Handling in AGI
- Tutorial by Marcus Hutter on Universal AI
- Tutorial by Stuart Shapiro on MGLAIR Agent

AGI online registration starts immediately. Registration fee:

- AAAI Member or AGIS Member: $160
- Student Attendee: $100

AGIS (Artificial General Intelligence Society) membership can be obtained at http://www.agi-society.org without charge.

AGI-13 will be held at Zhongguanyuan Global Village PKU, a facility of Peking University. Limited hotel rooms in the Village at a discount price can be reserved through the local committee before June 15.
