Stop omnipage from deciding whole page is bold face

I've been using omnipage to OCR various books and documents.
It generally is pretty good, but one annoying mistake it makes
is that sometimes it decides an entire page is bold face, while
other pages are decoded as being in regular.

This is of course disconcerting when generating PDFs from the
documents, or for that matter other forms.

It doesn't seem to have a way to remove the bold bit from all
pages in the UI for internal documents. Once saved to word format
I can fix that in a text editor, at the risk of losing any real
bold face, but this is OK for documents that don't actually use
real bold face.

Any tricks to get it to not make this mistake? Or must I rescan
all the paper with the threshold at a higher level perhaps?

Brad,

Which version of Omnipage?

How many pages do you scan each day/month?
