I have created my maps and included a link back from my web pages to
each individual location. I then used bulk edit to quickly tidy up,
after clearing the database by uploading the file with "delete = true"
and re-uploading the freshly modified file all my locations when using
the original links are returning "This location has been deleted."

Is it possible to include the location info address in the bulk edit
down load (as below)

http://www.communitywalk.com/location_info/1440968/8855413

so that I can overwrite the addresses that have been changed? or how
else am I able to use bulk edit without updating every link on my
site,

thank you,

John

John,

If you export your map and change the address for a given marker it should pick up that change when imported. You shouldn't have to delete your markers.

I have been having a similar problem with this process and it sounds
like I have been doing it the wrong way.

To clarify. If I change the information on marker, including the name,
I just re-import the data and it matches the updated and old
information using the "Identifying Number".

I too had been deleting the markers first.

Yes, that should work. If it doesn't please let me know.

You need to keep the same “Identifying Number” when you re-import the updated data otherwise the a new “Identifying Number” is created. The “Identifying Number” is the unique number for a location which is then used in the link you have included in your web site. You now have a difficult situation (I know this happened to me as well), where you will need to rematch the links with the “Identifying Number”. The “Identifying Number” is included in the export from the CommunityWalk.
