Hello all!
This week we have several opportunities to help with the Huntington
Community Gardens.
Wednesday morning Mr White and Mr Simpson will be at the Minton Street Peace
lot tilling and getting the ground ready for fall crops, we will be there
around 9am.
We also need help with the seniors lot on Minton street, pulling weeds from
around the tomatoes and tidying up a bit.
Thursday from 3pm-4:30 we need adult help passing out food and guiding the
Cub Scouts who will be planting the planters outside the Barnett Center.
Thursday from 5:30 - 7:30 or so we will be at the Maudella Taylor lot having
a fall equinox celebration, painting raised beds, maybe a little music, and
eating healthy foods with the kids.
We will be needing help building the herb spiral with the concrete we've
been donated.
We will also need help building pathways with said concrete on various
lots. These last two projects may be perfect for the Marshall days of
service, etc.
If you or your organization would like to participate with us, please let me
know as soon as possible. Thanks!
With Kind Regards,
Jennifer Williams
