But I can't say a Happy Independence Day because it is not a happy day after the vicious attack launched on Anna Hazare by several govt spokespersons and others yesterday. Also the way a murderous chief minister is trying to break the spiirt of IPS officers determined to stay true to the spirit of the Indian Police Service when many about them have abandoned it for immediate gains.

 

Govt has now clearly put niceties aside, bared its fangs and divided civil society to its advantage. I believe Anna has also made some mistakes and proved too naive for the likes of Sibal, Chidambaram, etc. But Anna has clearly expose the govt., put it on the backfoot and exposes Manmohan Singh a man who cannot be trusted with the welfare of teh Aam Aadmi. .

 

Nevertheless, a Happy Feast of the Assumption!
