Touch up paint?

Has anyone here gotten touchup paint for their bike? I want to touch up a few scratches on my metallic green Raleigh, and would need a custom match. Any local body shops or bike stores that would do this for me?

Nail polish works surprisingly well.  that and touch up car paint.

Personally, I think just about any attempt to touch up paint looks worse than the original chip or scratch itself.  The previous owner of my Bridgestone used nail polish to obscure a couple booboos and it drives me nuts to look at.  But I'm kind of one of those, "If I cant do it perfectly, I dont want to do it at all" people.

Huh, really?  I've got some chips on my silver sparkly specialized MB and whatever silver nail polish is on it, it blends right in.  It's kinda miraculous.

Having said that, I know Leon Speakers up by the Ann Arbor Airport has a paint specialist who might be able to help make a match.  I cant guarantee anything, but it might be worth a phone call.

I'm in Sandy's camp: either repaint the whole frame or forget about the chips, dings and scratches. I think black frames are an exception.

I use clear nail polish to protect the scratches from rusting and leave it at that.
