Hi,

if I would like to disable autodetection (since I know my players) in the sonos js project, what else do I need to do except setting the global token to 0 ?
How do I need to specify the players' IP adresses ?
I always do get errors in the JS code if I simply put the IP adress in...

Sorry Markus not really got time to support this at the moment.  Not sure why you would want to use a fixed IP address on a Sonos box.  Why do you want to disable auto discovery?  I am not running the version on Github as I have rewritten a chunk of it, however I think there is a setup screen (accessed through the gear) where you can turn off the auto discovery and add some players.  Are you saying this code is not working?

Hi Simon,
oh, no, didn't recognize the possibility to enter the IPs because I am planning to integrate the module into my own visualization with some changes...but I will try this. I can't say it's working or not ;-)
The reason for having fixed IPs is that within my projects I don't want to have the user adding sonos boxes because we are also providing the multimedia equipment around and integrating it into systems like hometheatres etc. Full integratin so to say. Mostly our customoers don't care about the equipment behind the system...
But I could also use the autodetect mechanism then, I know, just didn't know how to enter it as I saw the possibility.

Are there major improvements to the code itself ?
I am using the github version and will integrate it next days, saw that you spent quite some efforts in setting up the modules. very nice work !

Handles grouping and zones better and does the discovery process more quickly. Have not bothered making things like the time bar work as I don't really have a need for this. Over the weekend I will drop a newer version onto github.
