Hi Guys,

I am using a list object to display multiple instances of a volume controller for different zones in my project.
I have a content item set up with Digital signals for volume up/down and an Analog Gauge to show the volume level feedback.

When I tap the volume up/down buttons, the press and release events trigger correctly as expected and the volume fb increments.

My problem occurs when I press and hold the volume up/down buttons for a length of time, the release event is not triggered.

Any help on this would be excellent!

Thanks, Anthony

A quick update to this post -

Further investigation seems to indicate that if the list object receives data for the Analog Gauge
whilst the button press event is in progress this is when the release event is cancelled/overridden.

Obviously this is then causing my volume ramp to continue to 0/100% respectively.

You can use a separate command to send the same volume up/down events. Then using the button Advanced Actions, set the hold delay settings to determine how long you want the hold down the button before the command is fired.

Thanks for your reply Terrence,

I have indeed tried this method, similarly this also results in the same problem. When analog feedback is being sent into the list object
whilst the digital join is in a pressed state, the release event is cancelled/overridden regardless of what delay time is implemented.

I am going to do a few more tests today, I know Jarrod said he would look into this for me at some point also.

Anthony.
