I am sure this has been answered, but I have scoured the group and cannot find specifically what I am trying to do.  I need to view a single camera from the server in either the video tool or a web view window ......
or if not possible, I need to view the 4 plex of cameras in the web view tool.  I have tried entering the URL in the web view window and because it can't authenticate I get no images and I have also tried what I saw here and using the http://username:pass...@192.168.1.225:8080/mjpg/video.mjpg.

I am starting to bang my head on the wall so any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Hi Eric,

Try the following using the video tool:

http://[your ip address here]/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?&camera=1.  You can get to the other inputs with camera=2, camera=3, camera=4 and camera=quad.

This URL scheme implies that you have the encoder set to anonymous login (on my 240Q this is found under Basic Configuration>Instructions>Users - checkbox towards bottom of the page), which I would recommend at least for test purposes in order to remove some of the complexity until you get it working.  You can also do this with the Webtool but it requires a custom HTML redirect to set the page scaling properly, otherwise you end up with white space around the image.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a ton Greg!  By the way hows the testing with Florent and Mobile going?  You guys have an update available yet?

Hi Eric,

Glad it worked for you!  The last few weeks have been pretty busy for me, and Florent was in Australia for CEDIA plus the thousand other things he does every day so we haven't really done much with the new module in a few weeks.  Florent posted that he was going to try and work on it in a few days, and I hope to get some testing in also but that's about all I have to report at this time.

Take care!

If you're using the Video Tool, did you enter the username and password under the second tab labelled "Security" or you just entered the username and password in the Stream URL itself?

Terrence,

With Gregs example its using the anonymous login (no Authentication).  It seems like it should work, but my client keeps pushing me back so I have not been onsite to check and test it yet. I will let you if it works.
