We have added support for selecting platform fonts in guiDesigner 2.5.1, and this support is implemented in iViewer 4 build 237 and up.

What this means is that guiDesigner now allows you to select fonts for the target platform (iOS or Android) regardless of whether the fonts are available on Windows. If they are not available you won't get a font-accurate rendering of the text in guiDesigner, but the correct font will be used on device.

The Android build will be updated soon with proper support for this font selection functionality too.

Knew this question was next ;-)

Platform font support is the first step towards dynamic font loading, which comes next.

This is good improvement. i hope we can now use symbols as a target font type (hope iOS support that).

Where can I download this new version of guiDesigner? I'd really like to give this new font support a try.
