Layout configuration

Hi, I have a doubt.

I need to know if can I customize the gem to remove Layout functionality. I am only needing to manage sites and site's pages. Layout is not necessary for me now. I would like configure this but I was looking the gem's code and I could not find how to do this. If this is not possible I would like to configure the pages' creation doesn't require layout.

I hope you can understand my problem.
