Image Browser in WYSIWYG

What happened to the Image Browser in the WYSIWYG?
With Version1.7, the only option for dropping in an image is to copy and paste the image url.

Am I missing some configuration setting?

No, that's me. I need to re-implement it.
Old wysiwyg went away and it's custom image browser went away as well.
New wysiwyg while being nicer doesn't offer file/image browser out of
the box.
There are a few solutions out there so I'll implement one of them shortly.
Next update will have image browser back.

Hi Oleg, thanks for your hard work. Do you suppose it will be within a
week or two? Else, I'll just go ahead and start my latest project on 1.6

I think it's should be done in a week or two. If anything you can always
start in 1.6 and then just drop-in new version. Besides bumping version
in Gemfile you won't need to do anything.

about the image browser in wysiwyg.

I need to find time to rework ajax file uploader and plug image browser back. It's still happening though.

I see a reference to the redactor wysiwyg. Are you still working on an
image uploader/embedder for the default wysiwyg?

It's getting there. When I get some time to work on cms, it will be added on.
