PCI-6503 handshaking mode

Hi everyone,
In the docs for the NI PCI-6503 card, it says that it's possible to
configure port C for a special handshaking mode (mode 1) instead of
general IO mode (mode 0). Is it possible to put the card into mode 1
with comedi? If so, how do I do that?

The Comedi driver only uses the 8255 subdevices in mode 0.
