Forms in partials
Help, my form has fallen and it won't get up. I have a page in which a form works just fine--in the main page. If I extract it to a partial, the same code calls not the desired add_items method, but a remove_items method. Indeed, Firebug tells me that my form tag is just not rendered when its moved to a partial.... more »

Anyone using Watir??
Hello All, I'm a newbie to the group and I'm interested in knowing if there are others who are actively using Watir. I've been using it for a year and it's been fun all the way. Looking for folks to exchange ideas with and help out where I can. Thanks, Darryl

Code Jam...
Yikes, I completely forgot to send out this email. It is close to New Years, and my belief is that most of us have our hands full. I am calling in for a very casual Code (???) Jam session. If anyone is interested, I am up for a cup of coffee at Stauf's in Grandview for a couple of hours. Let's talk tech, let's talk about what we can do next year with... more »

CakePHP dev needed for a quick code review
I'm looking over some outsourced code for a client, and some of the CakePHP stuff is a little beyond my experience. I know there are problems with the code (I presume one doesn't go around setting up has_many associations in the controllers...) but the exact severity is hard to figure out. Anybody out there with some real CakePHP experience who has a spare... more »

Need help with SOAP integration
Hey gang, I'm helping out on a project where we're trying to integrate our product with that of another company. The other company is a Microsoft / SOAP shop and I'm having difficulties getting our Rails app to successfully talk to their test web service (which is new, so it's entirely possible that the... more »

Codemash
Is there any chance someone has a ticket available to codemash or may be able to find another option? I have a ticket, but know of another person who found out late. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Chad
