Unless you're still in line for an iPhone (or a Batman movie ticket), I hope you can come to this month's CRB meeting being held this Monday (July 21st) at 6pm.
CRB Member RJ Osborne is going to talk about his new Ruby Gem, Nearline (http://nearline.rubyforge.org) that he bills as "Bringing Time-Machine functionality to Linux and Windows". Here's a code snippet for your enjoyment:
Make backups as simple as:
require 'nearline'
Nearline.connect 'backup'
Nearline.backup 'rj_laptop', '/home/rj'
Our second presentation for July is Matt Williams to complete his "WAR: An Introduction to Gaming in Ruby" talk where he's going to talk about the State Machine Gem (http://statemachine.rubyforge.org/) and the TreeTop (http://treetop.rubyforge.org/) gem.

P.S. Looks like we might have Chris Wanstrath (co creator of Github) coming to the meeting along with Scott Barron and Josh Owens (http://gethandcrafted.com/ - host of the Web 2.0 show).
P.P.S Wouldn't it be great to wear your CRB t-shirt and get it autographed by Ruby/Rails superstars? What? You don't have a CRB t-shirt?!?! Crazy. Well, luckily for you there are still some shirts left. Bring your $10 and your Sharpie! :-)

Do you know if Chris will be in town for the event? There are a couple people in Cincinnati that might attend if he is.
