We are looking for a full-time Ruby on Rails Application Developer to
join us. This
is an on-site (non-telecommute) position at our Polaris office. It is
initially a contract position, and may become a permanent position
after an introductory period. Interested individuals (no agencies or

The ideal candidate:
* Intellectually flexible

* Ability to analyze problems and design creative solutions

* Preference for agile methodologies (pair-programming, collaboration,
unit testing, refactoring, etc...)

* Passion for writing clean, beautiful code
* Interest and experience in Behavior Driven Development

Experience Required:
* Computer Science degree or equivalent
* 5 years of programming experience
* Knowledge of and experience using MVC architecture
* Experience with the following technologies

Technologies Used:
* Ruby on Rails
* XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc...
* RSpec, Cucumber
* Oracle 10g
* RedHat Linux/AIX
* Mongrel/Apache
